On the beginning of January, Gentoo, the landlord of City Green, began essential building work. Patients are asked to use the entrance to the rear of the surgery as the front entrance is currently closed for safety reasons
Unfortunately this will mean that there will be no patient parking bays at the surgery for what is estimated to be a 20 week period. This is to allow building contractors access to the building and also to ensure no parked cars are damaged. We appreciate that this is an inconvenience to patients, as it is to the residents of City Green and the staff at the surgery.
Please bear this in mind when attending your appointment and give adequate time to find alternative parking or transport. The practice is based in the City Centre and there are excellent bus and Metro links to Park Lane Interchange which is a 5 minute walk from the surgery
We respectfully ask that our patients do not park across parking bays to the rear of the surgery as this is causing disruption to the building work & to the residents of City Green.
During February there have been times when patients have parked inappropriately and blocked the road to the side of the building and also the footpath outside of City Green. THIS HAS POSED SAFETY RISKS FOR PEDESTRIANS & ALSO BLOCKS ACCESS FOR EMERGENCY AMBULANCES. WE APPRECIATE THE INCONVENIENCE THE WORK IS CAUSING, HOWEVER, ANY PATIENT FOUND TO BE PARKING INAPPROPRIATELY WILL BE ASKED TO MOVE THEIR CAR.
We thank you for your patience & apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope patients understand that this work is unavoidable and out of the control of the practice
